We have to recognise just what is truly ours, and what we have merely borrowed, inherited, or otherwise uncritically bought into. To begin to let go of our borrowed ideas is to begin to become truly ‘pure in heart’. This type of freer heart is capable of recognising deep truth.<br /><br />Loving-Kindfulness Meditation and all forms of legitimate transformational work ultimately amount to a type of de-conditioning—or as one sage once put it, ‘de-hypnosis’.
