Isn't there an easier softer way to recovery?
Our ten stage recovery is painful and requires an entrance fee of suffering. It might seem counterintuitive that the path to the greatest power and authority takes us through the darkest stretches of torment and self-doubt, but it is impossible to heal traumas without feeling the pain they in elicited. Those who think you can leap painlessly from dissociation into enlightenment do not understand that recovery requires that you pass through suffering, depression, and grieving stages. The un- recovered misjudge the suffering person as an inferior, but the recovering person, connected with his core of truth and compass of honesty, knows better.
