We are still running thought patterns of separation and, as a result, fear. Some of us are breaking free of this, but many are still under the hypnosis of fear, separation and are seeking to get acceptance from "out there" instead of looking where recovery truly resides, which is always "in here" and our loving-kindness solution.<br /><br />Our minds can be genius, but our minds can also be the source of our massive suffering.<br /><br /><br />The beautiful thing about the human mind is that each one of us has an opportunity to train our minds into a restoration of sanity. We can CHOOSE to align our thoughts with thoughts of Love, Peace, Compassion, Non-Judgment, etc. Or we can CHOOSE to align our thoughts with fear, lack, separation and the like. When we choose to align our thoughts and actions with our child within, we tap into a wisdom much greater than our mind can comprehend.<br /><br />All of us were born perfect out of a Loving and Connected Universe. We were birthed from an intelligence that we cannot understand, yet we feel intuitively. When we surrender our will and understanding to that subtle child within, we sign up for an AWESOME and EPIC adventure. We won't know what's going to happen next, but we know that we will always be taken care of.<br /><br /><br />The first thing that usually happens when we surrender is that the shit literally hits the fan. Time and time again, whether we are consciously or unconsciously walking on our Path to Recovery, the shit will hit the fan. Our limited perspective from our minds will want to see moments like this as bad, negative and horrible. It's only natural. When something tragic, unplanned or painful happens, it makes total sense to see that event as a negative. BUT - because we have NO idea what is going to happen in the next moment or in the next year as a result of these seeming disasters, we cannot, if we are tapped into our child within, label them as bad, negative or disasters.<br /><br /><br /><br />The Child Within that is aligned with Loving-kindness simply observes these circumstances and chooses not to label them. We feel the feelings that come with each circumstance, but we do not let them define us or keep us stuck in a rut. We let the feelings come and go like a gust of wind - unattached and aware.<br /><br />Because we do not know what is going to happen next, if we choose to prevent or resist the present moment, we may actually be interrupting and stopping a miracle in progress.<br /><br />EVERY time something has gone to shit in our life, it's turned out even better. This is because we choose to see every seeming disaster as Grace and then take empowered action from that place of thinking.<br /><br />Consider that when things are falling apart in our life that it is actually Grace and celebrate the end of a chapter in our life and ride the wave so we can be rebirth our child within, smarter, wiser and with even more Loving-Kindness and Understanding in our heart.<br /><br />Choose to see even THESE MOMENTS as miracles in progress, and then get out of our own way.</span><br /> <span style="font-family: "courier new" , "courier" , monospace; font-size: large;">WE realise that we learn to be the traumatised and the traumatiser from a very early age. We vacillate between these two positions right up to today and we now have to identify which one we are to be able to diffuse the abuse. We have to become the sensitive child within and stop retaliating as the adult traumatiser to attempt to relieve the crazy feelings of an-others dysfunction. These facts are the nuts and bolts of our disfunction. We are taught these positions and now we have to unlearn them threw compassion and loving kindness.This has severe implications for us. This has become our way of sick communication with each other.</span><br /> <br /> The Ten Stages is a studied recovery course. At this time we begin to quantify the extent of our loss and realise how dreadful that loss has been. We tend to healthily vent this releases of pent-up emotions is better than our battle to constantly repress them, but we start to feel and express strong emotions. As the shock wears off, we feel the need to release all the emotions that have been building up. Our release may be verbal or physical, and while this is healthy, care should be taken to ensure our safety, others, or personal property. We identify and realise this is a NORMAL feeling. At this stage we needed to be quietly aided by EXPRESSED CONCERN in our recovery and its goals. A response to loss is for childhood is to experience vivid dreams, so vivid that we believe we have actually seen or heard our specific abuse or a moment from the past as it expresses itself in our sub-conscious. Another manifestation is that the we will mistake another person for the person from our past, usually on the street or in a store. It is a basic principle to understand our Child, recover ourself and recover our fellow children within with the same understanding that we have for ourself.<br /><br /> <br />If it’s true that our child within does support us in our purpose, then that means any thoughts we have and actions we do that are not aligned with our recovery are actually making our lives harder, more stressful and less full.<br /><br /> <br /><br />All those fearful thoughts of lack, all those doubting thoughts about whether we will be taken care of or not have never proved to be true. What we had to do was sacrifice our ego’s desires and let go of any past identity of what we thought we “deserved” and instead, accept the gifts of our journey of recovery back to our child within.<br /><br /> <br /><br />From fragile beginnings the roots of our recovery journey have begun to support a stronger hold on our Life.<br /><br /> <br /><br />This will be the same for us. We are supported by our newly found intuitive voice, not in the way that we want to be, but in the way that we need to be.<br /><br /> <br /><br />If it’s true that the child within is where we came from and that we have to respect our fellow beings the way we respect ourselves, it’s important that we respect ourself; because if we hate ourself, then that means we’ll hate our neighbours, too. So it’s vitally important that we get to work on our self worth. Eventually as we grow in self worth, we will be more and more full, and be able to share that self worth with others.<br /><br /> <br /><br />If we believe that our child within is born in perfection and retains that perfection then we are working from a healthy self worth viewpoint, our life will always work out for the best. This will give us an empowered point of view through which to interpret the events of our life. When things go not as we wished them to or planned for, we’ll know life has a lesson for us and then we make the a decision to learn. This point of view is sooooo important to incorporate into our recovery. If we do, we will be able to overcome any challenge.
