When we start to understand how dissociation works it has serious implications. It describes how we will be willing to increase our own delusional thinking in order to protect our current twisted understanding. This goes a long way to explaining how we seem comfortable to hold onto ideas that appear so obviously irrational sometimes to us and often to other people. 
 
 Dissociation has important implications for us who have been caught trying to build a life in recovery from so called addictions that do not exist. Implications of constantly regurgitating old past traumas in front of others and expecting the results to be beneficial when quite obviously its not. Its unhealthy and re-traumatising for both ourselves and others trapping us in a circle of negative flash backs, and cutting us from our child within.It is toxic and destroys our future recovery with the pain of the past.
