We've known most of our current Stagers for less than a few years, but it feels like a homecoming having them in our lives. We respect each other, we support each other and as Stagers, we belong together.<br /><br /> <br /><br />Sometimes we had to lose ourself to find ourself, It was scary doing this.<br /><br /> <br /><br />We may have to go against the wishes of our parents, loved ones or even religion to follow our recovery.<br /><br /> <br /><br />But our recovery is the Child Within calling you. And once we realise this, we will be finally home - within ourself . Instead of believing what we believe because someone told us so, we will believe what we believe because we have our own life experience on which to base our beliefs.<br /><br /> <br /><br />This is the path of self-realisation - to believe what we believe because we have worked it out for ourself, and to find out what it feels like to truly belong to ourself - and then find our Child Within where we belong.<br /><br /> <br /><br />When we belong to ourself, we are no longer mad at parents or loved ones who don't understand us. We are free to accept them as they are, because we don't need them to see us, because we finally see ourself.
